Legislative news summary
1. Amendment to anti-mobbing regulations The Sejm adopted changes to the Labor Code. The most important assumptions are a minimum compensation in the amount of 6 times the minimum wage and the obligation to implement preventive procedures for companies employing more than 10 employees.
2. PIP reform from July 8, 2026 The National Labour Inspectorate gains new powers, including the possibility of issuing decisions establishing an employment relationship, conducting remote inspections, automatic data exchange with ZUS and KAS, and higher fines.
3. Restrictions on visa-free travel According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs project, citizens of Georgia, Colombia, and Venezuela will be deprived of the possibility of taking up work in Poland under the visa-free regime. It will be necessary to obtain a visa.
