OHS and working in hot weather (Published): Maximum temperature limits have been introduced (35°C indoors / 32°C outdoors for physical work). Remedial actions are required starting from 28°C (indoors) and 25°C (outdoors). Entry into force: January 11, 2027.
Amendment on the employment of foreigners (Draft): Planned exemptions from work permits for selected countries, new information obligations, and rigid hour limits for mandate contracts/contracts for specific work (min. 40 h – max. 184 h). Stage: consultation.
Faster temporary residence (Draft): The Ministry of the Interior and Administration wants to enable the closure of residence procedures after 60 days of authority inactivity – only for citizens of selected, safe countries (including USA, UK, Japan). Stage: draft.
