The most important changes in labor law regulations in the last month:

  • The Act of 11 March 2026 amending the Act on the National Labour Inspectorate and certain other acts has been signed by the President of the Republic of Poland. The Act is awaiting publication in the Journal of Laws. The amendment will enter into force 3 months after the date of publication. At the same time, the President of the Republic of Poland referred the Act for subsequent review by the Constitutional Tribunal.

  • The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy published a draft regulation on the list of countries whose citizens holding a work permit are not entitled to perform work while staying in the territory of the Republic of Poland under the visa-free regime. The draft regulation limits the possibility of taking up work under this regime for citizens of Venezuela, Colombia, and Georgia.
