💰 Rising labor costs
The average hourly labor cost in Poland increased to EUR 19.1 (up from EUR 17.3 last year). This is a dynamic increase of 8.8%, placing us among the leading EU countries with the fastest pace of cost growth.
🔍 Recruitment plans (ManpowerGroup Barometer)
Despite rising costs, recruitment optimism remains strong:
4 out of 10 employers plan to hire new employees in Q2 2026.
The highest demand is reported by the construction and real estate sector (+45%) and utilities (+41%).
Challenge: Nearly 60% of companies still struggle to attract talent, especially in IT and communications.
⚖️ Important legislative changes
On July 8, 2026, an amendment to the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) Act comes into force.
A new draft regulation has been introduced, limiting employment under the visa-free regime for citizens of Venezuela, Colombia, and Georgia.
